HOLY fk!!
I was going to say that part of the problem is that my OH best mate also has a similar aged daughter. So trawling through her FB feed for a photo I can see the problem has gone beyond his own wardrobe!!
I've cropped his head off for privacy but rest unsured this is my son...
AS fkING TINKERBELL!!!!!

A 3 year old playing fancy dress is not a problem. It's a 3 year old playing fancy dress.

OP, I would be the same as you, however, I would be sitting down Miss T and saying, this is not happening under any circumstances. Whilst I appreciate he's 3, it's still a no IMO of course.
I thought i'd made it clear that it was a no no, around me anyway. So much my surprise when I saw him kitted up in pink this morning!I would be lying if I said I didn't find it slightly amusing when she thought my Mum wouldn't care (my poor Mums face)

Hmmm...what've we got here. Bigotry, sexism, homophobia all wrapped up nicely into a macho thread.
Great work people. Great work
As for the kid, fair play to him, sounds like he's having a blast and doesnt care what other people think.
Couldn't agree more, especially about the sexism and homophobia! Great work people. Great work

I used to play with action men, BMX, water fights, all the normal lads things yet im gay!
The poor lad is only 3 for goodness sake and is having fun. At that age is doesn't really matter does it?
Im sure things will change one he starts school and playing with the other lads but if it doesnt so what.....its the 21st century!

This thread is actually explaining quite a lot about some of the members of PH.

Is there any chance that your missus really wanted a girl, and so she's imparting her will on him without realising it?
D'ya think..? No problem playing dress up. However leaving the house is another issue.
Why don't you buy him a batman costume?
Little BS2 will only crawl to get two items jewels and car keys he's 13 months old. I will encourage the car keys more I don't want to be posting back in here in 2 years time my boy wears women's jewels.

she's probably trying to lessen the effect on the household of OP's 'manliness'
Seriously mate, the problem is like I said, I can only imagine in a survey of similar aged children that it's a small minority who are subject to this kind of thing, so is it unreasonable that I'd simply rather he not be in the minority?
