EU immigration isn't a problem whatsoever. The only long term legacy of current European immigration to the UK will be your Grandchildren's friend list on the future Facebook will have kids who more or less look like your grandkids and who will sound and think exactly like your grandchildren but will have funny surnames.

My dad's family came over from Italy and settled in Scotland. He moved to Northern Ireland and then back Scotland. My Mum was Irish. I lived in Northern Ireland till I was 14, moved to Scotland then in my late 20s lived in the North of England then London moved back to another part of North England before finaly settling back in Scotland. I think and sound more like a Scot than anything else. If it wasn't for the fact my name is Tannido Baldheadio rather than Tangus McBaldhead, my eyes are brown and my bald head tans so beautifully you'd not know I was the spawn of garlic, pasta, and potato munching wreckers of all that is good and British.
Absolutely spot on. We've had countless waves of immigration to this country over the centuries, resulting in an ever stronger nation. More diverse, maybe, but always stronger.

The problem now, however, is that this time round, we have a totally unsustainable benefits system. Whenever you see the Wail or Farage bleating on about Poles and Romanians coming over here claiming our benefits and using our hospitals, they're totally missing the point. There are far more homegrown people taking far more out than they ever put in than there are immigrants, but heaven forbid any political party would actually try to address an issue which means voters getting less for more!

Why do so many people from round the world want to live in England? It must be that we are truly great, or they wouldn't bother....? Or is it something else?

Diary for 01/09/2064

Woke up and found the cat had scratched my wallpaper TV again!

Went to the London north zone yesterday. Dunno if I will go again. It's not the £100 a day electric car Congestion Charge that puts me off it's the 2 hour immigration DNA testing.

Was going to pop into the NHS this afternoon but found all the pre-book slots were taken.

Still struggling to cope with mandarin. Who would have thought the Chinese would use us a cheap labour?

I know I won't vote for Leo Blair but the English/Welsh/Irish alliance party are flagging a bit. I do miss the Tory party. How many years has it been since it was disbanded?

Will I go for the iPhone 99? That direct brain interface sounds painful.

The bombings from Cornwall have lessened since the independence of Scotland. I do feel sorry for them but how much more aid do they need?

Oh yeah, and Pistonheads. Not as good as it used to be.
