Recently "sold" a citroen romahome as spares or repairs. the winning bidder, text me to say he had had a heart attack and no longer wanted it, the second chance offer also turned down saying i was too far away and he would only come if i met him halfway (im in wales, he was in kent)
sold it locally in the end. PITA

Although I love browsing ebay for misspelled adverts etc. quite often i browse nearest first trying to find a bargain!
last week i found a subwoofer in enclosure with an amp local to me for 99p start and no reserve.
i messaged the seller and after a bit of to-ing and fro-ing he didnt accept my offer of £15 without the wiring or £20with.

waited and snuck a bid in during the final few seconds and won it for £17.

needless to say his emails to arrange collection were very short, and when i arrived to collect it just picked it up, threw it in my boot and walked off!!

its good as a buyer, but as a seller ive had nothing but hassle from there.

Ebay is great for buyers. I wouldn't personally bother selling anything on there due to huge amount of timewasters and non payers. PayPal buyer protection is also rather biased in my opinion.

Also a buyer can decide that they don't want the item up to 6 months later and you MUST accept the return (including paying for the postage).
Source?? As that sounds like complete twoddle to me.

You've only got 45 days to open a paypal dispute.

Go check the terms and conditions.
They have just changed all the rules, it is now even more massively weighted in the buyers favour
