Snowing solidly since about 8 pm last night here in Dewsbury. Still coming down thick and the sky is full. My unadopted road is a nightmare and the summer tyres on the Golf are atrocious. Got to be in Wakefield this afternoon for an appointment, should be fun..

Truly extremely jealous, but also very pleased for those of you enjoying proper wintry conditions!

It's been on and off in Bury this morning. Went for a (pedal) bike ride upto Ramsbottom and the Holcombe area for those that know it. Anything that wasn't a major road was 'tricky'.

As I type this, it's just started really heavy now biggrin

I suppose there have to be some compensations for living in the North.

5C and raining in Somerset.

About 2 inch in Mansfield this morning. Melting fast though.

A colleague tried to get over Snake Pass this morning in order to get to Glossop. He apparently saw four accidents and decided that he would turn around head back to Sheffield. He hadn't got a shovel, ignored traffic reports and then got stuck.

Is it bad that I laughed? laugh

Well this model certainly got someone excited...

All I can see is a blue eagle swooping over the continent. wink
Or an enormous finger pointing at NRS.

Plenty up here in leeds near the airport, going to grab a shovel and help the poor bd who is stuck at the bottom of our hill thinking it was a through road. Of course I'm going to finish my cuppa first and laugh a bit more at his "eleventy million rpm but going nowhere" attempts to get back up the hill.
LBA was closed this morning too.

Not even a proper snow locally - more of a sleet shower, so called "snow" is melting in no time. frown

Just driven back from Leeds and went over the tops past the airport and over the Chevin, quite a bit of snow and it looked lovely laying on the trees,

It will be for us if that finger of green gives way to the blue to the left of it.

Snowed Monday evening into Tuesday morning (microscopically), snowing again now - 2-5" expected. Which probably means 0.2".

Aside from the 'good'; snowfall I missed in December by being in the UK, it's been very mediocre this winter.

Been snowing most of the night and throughout today. Quite a bit on the pavements/fields etc. Roads are pretty clear though.

Checked the weather report again; now 4-8".

Which as it's coming down a bit now in Colorado, could be accurate.
