Been watching the news about the storms in America, has it not got going yet ? didn't look quite as impressive as I was imagining.

Doesn't look overly exciting for us here near Manchester Airport, now deciding on my options for travel to work tomorrow and Thurs, road bike or 350Z, neither great if it does by some miracle snow properly.

No!

But positive factors are how far North you are, how far West you are and your elevation.

On the plus side... Any clouds with precipitation that manage to retain moisture and bother to fall over your dry flat plains would probably be snow.

When I say West is best, the coastal areas will get nothing as they'll remain too warm (famous last words)

We had less than 12" in New York yesterday and it hasn't started snowing yet today. The metro system is up and running but schools and a lot of offices are closed.

Are you saying your home is now in the North Sea, somewhere off the coast between Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth? Jeepers, I knew Norfolk coastal erosion was serious, but not that bad wink
