Wind is pushing it through really fast. Don't think there'll be any significant accumulations of snow for us in W Yorks. You can see how fast it's moving on raintoday.co.uk site.

We had 5 minutes of torrential rain in west London this morning and then it disappeared and the sun came out this afternoon.

Bit of a breeze is picking up and the temperature has dropped a bit.

Has anyone been keeping an eye on the US east coast weather situation? 3ft of snow forecast and New York received a mere couple of inches which had all melted by the afternoon. rofl

Sheet ice on many roads around Bradford now. Traffic horrendous.
If it snows on top of this it will be "interesting"!

It's been snowing quite heavily in Falkirk, Central Scotland, for about an hour.
Got about 3-4cm on the ground and there's supposed to be more coming.

Out of interest, (forgive me), can I just check out why exactly you all want snow?

Just so I snow.

It looks nice, it's fun to play in, down south no one can cope with it so work closes early, it's lovely to sit at home with a hot drink and look across a frozen landscape, etc etc.

Also Netweather is clearly having a bit of a wobble as earlier there was no snow until Tuesday and now I've got an 81% chance of snow tomorrow afternoon. Sadly it appears it'll be preceded by sleet so I doubt it'll settle frown

Coming down a fair bit in Huddersfield now. BBC can't seem to make their mind up for here, changing it by the hour from sleet, to light snow to heavy snow and then back again.
