Seen up to 2 hours delays on the bus routes round Bradford.
Took me 45 mins just to do the epic length of the M606 rolleyes
That's not bad I read on twitter it took someone 30 mins to go down 2 levels in a city centre multistory. Bradford interchange closed.

Girl I work with (in Leeds) left work at 3pm and isn't home yet. Think she lives Thornton/Denholme area

I read one of the traffic updates on twitter that Denholme is totally gridlocked.

These are the weather stations I look after round here, bit of the white stuff on higher ground smile We've had heavy snow showers all afternoon in town and its almost gone before the next one rocks up, but starting to settle now. Just a slight bit higher out towards the Lakeland fells and there's 3 inch or so. It just really depends where the heavy showers hit.

Where is the A6 Shap pic taken from? I use that road most nights in my truck and there is no lighting along the road once past the quarry so how are you getting illuminated pics of the road?

We've had light flurries since mid afternoon, and there's a light covering on the ground. Pennines north of Manchester. It better dump tonight, I drove up to Carnforth earlier to collect this yellow contraption.

Bradford just has to see one flake and it gridlocks no snow on the roads from Bradford to Silsden but it took a mate 2 hrs to get home about 16 miles.

Not very consistent. Had a mini blizzard half an hour ago, that only lasted 15mins or so.
Hopefully more to come.

North of Rochdale - it keeps absolutely hammering it down, but with the wind it's sometimes going upwards! And for the second time in a week themes been thunder, lightning and snow. If there was no wind and it came down steady it'd be about ten feet deep by tomorrow morning.

Had a few flurries here in West Ardsley now, including some thunder snow biggrin BBC weather predicting heavy snow and light snow showers overnight.

Noticed on twitter WYRPU posting pics of cars that have slid off of the M1.

bit of light snow in Macclesfield now. Roads are wet though, so not sure what will happen with the heavy stuff forecast for 8am tomorrow and then all day. Another damp squib probably and 'snow days' don't exist when you work from home anyway :-(
