The Official Winter Snow Thread 2014/2015
Discussion
Just got back from my Alps trip and I'm happy to report that everything went smoothly, despite my lack of preparation
I only encountered one road (a twisty pass up to a ski resort) which I decided against attempting, and even then it wasn't much of an inconvenience as the alternative route wasn't much of a diversion and was properly gritted.
A few more pictures for the snow lovers.....
And all that driving on snow made it the dirtiest it's ever been!

All those in favour of excommunicating GetCarter out of sheer jelousy, say 'aye'It snowed Saturday night into Sunday morning (more expected Wednesday). Put down about 4" that settled.
Sunday morning at ~8.30, the roads were a little treacherous on packed snow.
At 10.30a.m. they were mostly slushy.
At 4.30p.m. they were bone dry - the delight of Colorado, you don't have to deal with it for long.
