We parked the car at 3pm, Friday...

Need to lift your wipers up so any melting snow sliding off doesn't bend them.
I tried. However, they are sited beneath the rear edge of the bonnet, so wouldn't lift... Maybe if I'd stopped them mid sweep, I might have been able to, but I didn't think about that until just now (and I'm stuck at GVA with a 2 hour delay frown )

Just saw that frown

Apparently, the baggage handlers here are striking today.

We are booked on the 1755 Swiss, but, ominously, the boards are reading "update at 1830". Sounds like a night in Geneva coming up furious

My heating has once again borked. Seems I need a new boiler.

'Tis cold in my place. Again.

Thank heavens for my Superman onesie and those little hot air blowers.

Any idea how long this cold will be lasting for?

No end in sight at the moment - the Atlantic is not due to return in the foreseeable future.

Not much chance of significant snow either...

No photos, but about an inch of powder this morning in North Armagh.

All gone by the time I got home there at 1845 though

Narrow band of light snow currently moving south from East of Brum.

It might disappear before reaching Thames Valley
