Woke up to snow in dorset, a bit of a rarity.

Mother of god, NO f**ker round here knows how to drive in the snow.

I had to follow someone doing 35 in a 60 all the way to work. On roads totally devoid of snow or ice banghead

I feel your pain.

I had to endure 10mph behind an mx5 for 12 miles on country roads to the train station, a journey which normally takes approx 20 minutes took about an hour... only to get to the station to find the trains were buggered and i had to return home, albeit this time following a vw polo doing 8mph... and i'm in a RWD BMW FFS!! mad

2 more days of NErly winds bringing snow from the North Sea. Cant' accurately predict where, but there's a chance!

So anything more in East Berkshire to follow up on this morning, or am I just being greedy?

Thursday just added to the warnings too.

Can't tell exactly, and Berkshire remains on the periphery of any action - like last night.

I was picking my way along the b road from my house to the m40 at 45/50, which I thought was fine, the person behind me didn't, and went far too close for comfort.

May have let the back slide out around one of the corners, that made him back off, then we all had to slow down to 30 for people infront...

That Astra is a typical example of someone who really doesn't have clue how to drive in slippery conditions! I've seen so many people rock up to a junction in snow and ice and brake at the usual (in dry, sunny weather) spot, only for the car to continue to slide across the road. If people looked further than the end of bonnet and thought "ooh it was a little slippery when I walked to car, so best I be a little careful", everyone would get on just fine. Instead, many just plough on as normal and wonder why they end in a hedge furious

The sun hasn't melted the snow as much as I had expected to, here in Bedfordshire/Bucks. Hopefully a bit more snow tonight and it'll settle on top of it (fingers crossed).
