Superb!

What's the winter been like over there JJJ?

I was in Breckenridge for a weekend a few years ago and the amount of snow was staggering

I refer you to my earlier comments in the thread grumpy

Colorado might have managed 3' in total this winter.

it's all been a couple of inches here and there, nothing worth getting the camera out for, barely worth even noting (there's been several 'snowfalls' I've not mentioned on here due to how pathetic they've been).
It's been a very mild winter with very limited snowfall really. Worst was over Christmas, when I was back in the UK.

That said, they're forecasting 3"-6" on Saturday and an additional 5"-8" on Sunday.

The way things have been going, that'll be literal -> 3"-6"+5"-8" = -6"....

I just got bored and looked up the National Weather Service stats for Denver for this winter; 29.9" in total so far.

IF we get 8", that'll JUST take it out of the lowest 15 snowfalls since 1882.

However, all is not lost; average for March is 11.5", April is 9" - average annual snowfall is 57".

So there's a good change for another couple of feet. Hell, we usually get 1.7" in May and a trace in June...

Wow. That's rough. I guess Seattle's had a fairly dry winter as well? I assume much of you weather comes from the north west...

Seems to come out of the sky, mainly..... wink

Can't find anything nicely collated for Washington, unfortunately.

We're in the frozen North (Saskatchewan) and have had very little snow in comparison to some years ,2012 for example , downside being the poxy freezing rain which fks life with a vengeance , as ever we'll hope for an early spring .

Oddly enough this storm is forecast to be the heaviest since 2012. Fingers crossed.

Going to be a very interesting next 72 hours here in the Channel Island - massive tidal surge forecast, some of the highest tides of the year, well over 10 metres, coupled with a strong westerly airflow. Our lounge furniture is already being moved by the pounding of the waves. smile

Whiteout in Sussex at 08:30 but quickly turning to sleet. Ground not chilly enough for it to last I fear.

Good blast of snow in Eastbourne this morning. Settled a bit up by Beachy Head. Stopped now and melting I'd guess.
