Yeah but it hasn't stopped it snowing here today.
I'm nearer the Equator than both you and GetCarter in the frozen north.

GetCarter doesn't know what the frozen north is, wink This was us playing around yesterday in the snow after sticking the skis on and going for a walk up a mountain, biggrin

We have it soft here! (I worked for a while in Norway - never felt right driving over lakes).

Woke up to a mini blizzard. No blanket of snow but snowflakes were a plenty.
Was quite surprised to see the bin men out and about.

Beautiful in Cambridge at the minute but bitterly cold when the wind bites.

Lovely in Somerset/Dorset: sleet briefly at around 0700 and the odd rain shower since, but mostly sunny and breezy.

That's because it's not, laugh They're generally strict over here about that, no driving on lakes, no free use of snowmobiles like they have in Sweden etc.

Going across lakes is really weird though, particularly when the ice is clear enough to see the bottom. I think it's supposed to be around 2cm of (new) ice and it's ok to drive on! Never planning on testing that out though!

We did it a lot... to get to work! It was in the 1980s mind.... they probably didn't care much then.

My colleagues in Dallas tell me they had enough snow for the kids to build snowmen this weekend, expecting another dump on Wednesday.

Very light frost on the windscreens this morning here, roads were fine.

Looked up at work this morning and it was a complete white out, looked up two minutes later and it was sunny.
