Just had about a hours worth in Dunfermline, couple of inches (that's what I'm telling myself) on the ground. We live on a quite steep hill and it's enough to put that route out of bounds.

No gritters about though

We did it a lot... to get to work! It was in the 1980s mind.... they probably didn't care much then.
Well, my jeebies have been well and truly heebied. The idea of driving over ice ,no matter how thick makes me shudder to my core.

..

Brighton was a sub tropical 10.degrees today. My postman was back in shorts. Gentlemen, summers arrived.

You've not been ice fishing before ? Drive out onto the lake , drill hole , light bbq , drink beer , catch and cook , go home .

It's been on and off here all day on the west coast of Scotland,; never came to much earlier but there is about two inches lying at the mo with more forecast.

Just been to put the bin out and it's proper squeaky snow!

Well, I'm not up in Boulder, so there's been 'a bit' but not the huge quantities that they've been getting (a colleague walked out to about 18" there the other day).

The most we had at one time in one place before it melted was about 6", drifting to about a foot in corners, which honestly isn't normally worth taking a picture of.

So, here's a couple of crappy ones.

Reporting back in.

Central haggis land has snow, about an inch fell overnight, we even got some thundersnow. Not seen that since I was a kid walking with my gran down to her house.

Currently snowing once again as I type at work.
Not seen any accidents. Yet.

Looks like plenty of snow over the hills of northern Ireland from what we can see from the boat.

Spring has sprung here in the Islands. Lovely day today, perhaps up to 16 C at the weekend.

WTF ?

Reigate and Banstead are still gritting the roads.

I DID predict that winter was over last Sunday and stand by that.

Crazy! It was warm enough in Hampshire on Saturday to go for a walk in shirt sleeves and enjoy some cheese and wine outside in the late afternoon sun!

This weather still creates frosts! It's just that the sun has risen and melted the frost before your lazy self gets up wink

This weekend could be even better...

Left work to get a bit of sun while doing some ski touring today. Was a bit too late to get the best view of the sunset though. Lots of lovely powder further down, but a bit windblown on top! Still got another few months to go hopefully!

Crazy weather. Went for a bike ride last night. It was bone dry and 7 degrees at 7.30pm.
Woke up and it's freezing and snowing hard!
One day at a time... hehe

Just dropped my workmate off at his house in Queensbury in the past hour and it's coming down hard over there and settling too!

Queensbury, Brighouse, Bacup, where the devil are these places, if they are even real at all, which I very much doubt...?
