Snowed again last night. Only a couple of mm, though. The temp is loitering around freezing right now...and due to be 22c on Friday.
That's just crazy weather!!!I have a colleague who works from home in Breckenridge. His board is permanently waxed and ready for action. Jammy gits!!

I've said it before, but it does really depend on who you are and what you do as to whether or not you like it.I have a colleague who works from home in Breckenridge. His board is permanently waxed and ready for action. Jammy gits!!
I overheard a colleague talking to some people; he and his wife moved to the mountains (not sure where exactly) in CO. They lasted one winter and would never do it again. Lots of being snowed in, shoveling, and not being able top do much for weeks on end. Fine if you like that sort of thing, but easy to get cabin fever.
I have put the winter wheels on the BMW, also fitted all season tyres to the wifes A4 cab and I have put fresh winter tyres on the Berlingo (dog van, dump run car) so she can use it if the A4 is still a bit crap in the snow.
I can confidently say that it will snow properly after the 2nd of December. That's the day I go offshore for two weeks.
I haven't driven in proper snow for three years now because it only snows when I'm not here.
