Only 23 myself but I can appreciate this as Expecting to Fly was one of my dad's most played albums in the 90s. Great album and I must steal it next time I pop round

For me it's when you don't know who up to date singers/groups are. Growing up I was always right up to date with the charts/music groups etc. Now I haven't a clue and that makes me feel old. So off to catch the Top 40 on VMusic!!

That's not being old, that's not acting old! Do you refuse to drive a car without a manual choke as well?

I'm 48 next month and feel the same about the charts, haven't got a clue about a thing in the top 40. I used to know everything in the late '70s through to the early '90s.

Having said that though, I listen to 6 Music all the time buy a lot of stuff I hear. smile

I'm 48 on Sunday but do listen to the charts and 6 Music.

What makes me feel old is talking about fairly newish cars or bikes and the young lads in the workshop stare at you blankly with a "What's a Scimitar/Esprit?"

When your idea of 'That was a cracking night out!' actually translates to 'I went to the pub and beat my mate at crib/dominoes over a couple of pints.'
