A colleague from work was embarrassed to admit that he'd fallen for one of those messages - he tried charging his new phone 'wirelessly' using his microwave.

He said he'd been a bit skeptical of it, so he 'only did it for 15 seconds or so'.

Girlfriends sister has changed her profile picture to a selfie of her and her boyfriend. Not to bad you think until you realise it's of them at his dads wake, she's smiling but he looks (quite understandably) visibly upset. She's in her 30's so you would think she would know better.

Who takes photos at funerals let alone selfies!

Reminds me of the Milton Jones gag on Mock the Week - We went to see my Grandfather not long before he died, and he asked us to rub lard on his back. He went downhill very quickly after that.

Not from Facebook but this writer thought that the MOD spending £183m on some five inch guns for a battleship was a waste of money because she thought they were 5 inches LONG!

It's genuine too. She's trying to defend herself on Twitter.
