I particularly like the suggestion to seek compensation.
The poor girl! Offer to help by not resting until you've found another tramp to wee on her other leg - asymmetric fashion is so over.

On the what can be seen, you'll see far worse on your local high street tomorrow, north of the Watford gap obviously wink
Hilarious. Nothing worse than Huntingdon on a Saturday night, actually Huntingdon anytime of day or night.

Bride asks when people are paying full balance for wedding, doesn't mention her venue, owner of venue wades in threatening legal action... it's been shared a lot so PR disaster!

PR apocalypse! This has really taken off & could be quite costly, just amazing stupidity. Loving the data protection security from Balgonie, too. Looking at her surname it's unlikely she'll be fired, though.

Dear God, what a nutter. She doesn't even seem aware of what she's done. Some people shouldn't be allowed near a keyboard.

I don't think it's her surname, it's just appended to show that she's a representative of the venue.

Pretty sure the Morris family own and run the castle and she married into the family.

Gosh what a surprise - married into money and now thinks she's better than everyone else as a result. That almost never happens. biggrin

it was not until 1971 that restoration of the castle, then owned by David Maxwell, began. Work continued through the 1970s and 1980s, aided by European funding as part of European Architectural Heritage Year, in 1975. The keep and chapel have now been fully restored, and the castle is once again lived in by its current owner and laird, Raymond Morris, and his family.

The castle is open to the public, and the restored chapel and great hall can be hired for events such as weddings, just don't query payment terms or mention the venue on social media.

And in the comments on both papers it appears that a new venue has stepped in and offered their services for the wedding for free.

You can't buy that kind of publicity.
