Man jailed after tagging himself in Facebook photos of him taking part in a riot

article said:
Robert Darragh, 21, from the Shankill area of Belfast, took part in a riot during a clash between nationalists and unionists during the Loyalist marching season in Northern Ireland last year. 29 police officers were injured during the disturbance as they were pelted with bricks, bottles and other missiles.

Belfast Crown Court heard that during the disturbance, Mr Darragh kept his face covered to avoid detection and so could not be identified from CCTV footage, Belfast Live reports.

However, as part of their investigation, police officers looked through photos on social media sites to find images from the riot. Mr Darragh had tagged himself in a Facebook photo showing him participating in the disturbance. The tag linked to his profile page, from which officers were able to find out his full name and other details.

She'll get a nasty surprise when they charge them to her credit card after she leaves.

They will probably notice BEFORE she leaves and may have an embarrassing incident at check-out when she has to unpack the entire contents of her suitcase.

I worked for a hotel chain and neither of the above will happen.

The housekeeping staff will rarely notice if a towel is missing and could most care even less. I have never known anyone be charged for one.

The bathe robes, however, are different......

We were away at a friend's wedding when a friend of mine queried a $200 charge on the bill. His wife had chucked a bath robe in her bag by accident when packing up 5 mins before checkout. They were on it instantly.

Luckily they don't charge for the coffee and hot chocolate sachets that I fill my overnight bag up with.

You mean stolen a bath robe. No one packs them by accident.
