I think you'll find the difference is that I'm working hard to get the qualifications to unlock a host of decent jobs that I want. I'm not sitting moaning that barely a week out of high school, my dream job hasnt landed in my lap

Maybe 'cos the kid has a complete lack of planning?
I mean, what did he expect, Alan Sugar to meet him at the school gates?

He says "Everything I want to do, I need qualifications"
He even knows what the solution is, but ultimately he needs to make himself desirable as an employee.
