Is this a new thing or have i just started to notice them more

Around this time of the month i keep getting emails telling me what to spend my pay on

Are most people that bad at budgeting they only have the money to spend at the end of the month?


I remember seeing this sort of stuff on the TV years ago on the states

I get them myself. Very simply marketing really - target 'paycheck to paycheck' consumers when they have the most amount of money in their accounts, and play on the 'pay day treat' mentality.

I work in the industry. Pay day basket abandonment emails (which target people who have left products in their basket during the month) work well!
