Welcome to the weekend smile

Monday brings us September, which to me feels more like a new year than New Year itself, when all is achange and the kids go back to a different form at school.

My musings are prompted by Princess Champers Junior starting senior school on Monday biggrin

It's been a tough working week despite the bank holiday, so tonight's music is the soothing vocal talents of Natalie Merchant.

Driving a TVR for 350 miles with a hangover not the thing, then?

I'm drinking orange juice and fizzy water while I'm on here listening to the telly in the other room making an indiscernible hubbub of distant dialogue. Although, I can make out theme tunes and adverts quite easily.

I'm not doing TFND+LT right, am I?

It would be unbearable in the TVR, merely a pain in the neck in the i40. Bloody expensive in the tiv too, 2 tanks to get home as opposed to a bit over a half a tank of diesel.
Setting off at 4am to be well clear of cornwall before the traffic starts.

Coming back from Cornwall after a holiday and we stopped in a little petrol station just shy of the Cornwall/Devon border. The taciturn owner served us and we stood in sunshine in silence for several minutes before he nodded to black clouds in the east. "It be rainin' in England."
