One of my friends has just become a distributor for Juice Plus and is constantly going on about how good it is. Has anybody on here got any experience of this product?

Thanks.

A quick google with tell you it's a pseudo scientific tier heavy scheme to sell overpriced vitamin supplements to fat people who stand only to gain expensive urine and not lose any weight.

One of my girlfriends friends is a distributor, she's been taking it and promoting it for a couple of years, she's still obese....

Here's an article about it, from 1995

I wonder what other scams from the past will get a popular resurgence thanks to Facebook?

My other half uses it... yes he does lose a bit of weight, but no more than you'd lose by eating sensibly and hitting the gym a couple of times a week.

When he comes off it, he binges on food, and generally ends up worse off than when he started.

I'd hope that proof reading has come on since then. rolleyes

Anyhoo. We all know all diets are pointless. Yes. The fatty loses weight but then it all goes back on again. Because, they're fatties and fatties will always be that. Fat.

Sorry, "large", "cuddly", "ample", "big" etc. anything but the "F" word.

I met a very affable chap on holiday who has since been emailing me about 'opportunities' re juice plus.

Was going to start a thread out of curiousity (already have a career ta) but I just dismissed the whole thing as a bit pyramidy.

It is. Very true!

I knew a couple who were both big fatties and at a house party this bloke started chatting about stuff like he knew me. It was ony when he talked about his cat (a Burmese like mine) that I twigged who he was. He was litteraly half the man he was!

I mentioned it and they proudly said they were on a juice diet of some sort. I congratluated them and asked if they wanted some cake, by shoving it about an inch from their slim faces. I may have imagined it but both their pupils dilated and they seemed to get quite agitated. hehe

Anywy, about six months later I saw them in Starbucks both eating a supermochalatte with extra cream and a side order of cream buns, and yes they were both fat again!
They both said that the diet made them miserable and they accepted that they were fatties and they seemd happy with that.

He also said that he and his wife have been fatties since childhood and he thought that was the way is was and they wouldn't and couldnt change, plus he liked big tits.

Did you ask him what the colour of the boathouse was, before he ate it?

It's hard to tell. One of my mates went there, I'll ask him if he noticed any difference in either size and/or performance

Are you ever serious GTIR?

What I'm saying is, I met a chap on Hols who I got on well with. Hung out with. Bounced my little 'un on his knee etc

Then I get home and get these emails which pissed me off as I suspect it was one big schmooze.

(When I say "big" I don't mean fat...unless you are actually fat then I apologies.)
