Bradford- lost for words

I've travelled to many places over the globe but have never seen such a hole. It is run down with nothing to offer. The place is full of scum, whether it be white or asian.
And I'm all for multiculturalism but multicultural it is not. 80-90% of asians does not make a city multicultural.
If you want to get a feel for how British society has gone down the pan- do visit Bradford!

I gather just under 30% is the official number. I find that hard to believe, I was in the city centre today and it definitely was 80%. It's just that Bradford didn't have one redeeming feature I could think of! Not one!Maybe you were in the Asian area?

I cannot understand how those figures can remotely be accurate. Believe me I went, and I saw with my own eyes. Dreadful place! Decent buildings I guess at a push- but very few.71.21 White British

The only things Asians are guilty of is bad taste. Gulzar and "gold" plated car accesories anyone?

Never been to leicester! I know. Don't ask! No other city looks like Bradford- Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham. You name them. They all have dodgy areas but have decent to very nice city centre and do actually feel multicultural!A few years ago I was studying the "Life in the UK" book preparing for the test I needed to pass in order to become a British citizen. I had the book at work and for a laugh I decided to try some of the test questions on my English, not British, co-workers and they seemed to enjoy the quiz.
When I got to the bit about the ethnic composition of the UK they weren't so jovial and decided that the low percentage of Asians quoted was grossly incorrect.
