A sad week indeed - so much needless and senseless violence.
I'm back on the wagon here, we have a wedding to go to mid February and I need to buy a suit, I've put a bit of weight on this list four/five months or so, so I'm doing my best to shift that and staying off of the grog the best I can is part of that plan.
Sat in the conservatory, with a cuppa' tea whilst listening to Joe Bonamassa do his thing, an empty house and a long, lazy night ahead - superb!

to absent friends and, if allowed, to my great uncle who passed away unexpectedly yesterday. He was a good 'ol boy
My brother gave me the 30yo for my 30th. I can only say that it is bloody fantastic. Thank you for the kind wishes but, although I'm quite upset, he lead a long and exciting life and was fit until the end. Something that we should all wish for. I think I might have to drain the bottle for him!
