That's what happens when you only have to shave once every 5 years.

They'll start to degrade after about 3 years, but realistically you wouldn't notice for a while after that (used to work for a manufacturer). As mentioned, keep it out of the light and for everyone's sake, bin the brut and buy something decent.

Don't know if this will be a record or not but I've still got about 90% of a bottle of Aramis Devin which must be from about 1976/7 (and possibly might be a year or two earlier than that) so at least 38 years old. Kept in a bathroom cupboard so out of the light.

I did open it again for the first time in years about 3 months ago and the main notes I remember are still there but I don't think it is anywhere near as strong as it used to be. You only needed to invert the bottle, open it and wipe the edge on your chin and that was plenty enough to get a cuddle from some of the young ladies in our group back then - they seemed to love it.

Haha I went through a "vintage" period a few years back now and got myself a bottle of old spice. I was djing one night and a woman told me I smelt like her grandad. It's not been used since.
