Munich on Friday, visiting my MIL the weekend after and going mushroom hunting and the weekend after that I might be popping back to the UK for a couple of nights camping with friends.

Then my new job.

Finding out whether I need to get a new job after this year's round of redundancies. I'm reasonably ambivalent (clearly one is a lot less hassle though) but the whole waiting thing is a real grind.

I'm now looking forward to a build thread on this! Do you have one?
Yes. Look in "Readers Cars" under "Does it have to be running?"

This weekend's beer festival. Next month's whisky festival. A trip to London to a luxury hotel paid for by my wife, and in November, Birmingham for the classic car show at the NEC

And boiled egg for breakfast after a walk with the dog.

In the short term:

A couple of days off starting in a few mins.
Beers, thai food and a gig this afternoon/evening.
A lazy day tomorrow.
Getting my CX bike back today.

In the slightly longer term:

A trip to Applecross for a few days in October.
Doing less overtime and having more time off again.
Sorting my house out, lots of plans...
Amsterdam in November for a couple of days.
Booking a holiday to somewhere hot.
Christmas.

That'll do for now.
