I've been getting into photography and it has taken me to a fair few places- pit lane at Indy, Brands Hatch general & pit lane for track & test days and RAF bases and all over Wales. The other photographers at the RAF bases are some of the most down to earth, kind and friendly people I have ever met.

That isn't a cross section of society though, try to talk to people in b & m bargains, might be a different story ..

Also recently got into photography. Need to get out more, but when I do, I very regularly bump into friendly likeminded individuals.

Something to do with understanding each other's urge to stand out in the cold for hours on end.

I meet friendly people all the time (!!!) but endurance go-karting, it was incredible how far the other teams would go to help each other out.

Nearly everyone I meet is friendly. That's why the very rare occasions when someone isn't friendly stand out.

Funny you should say that, as I mostly find people from darn sarf especially the east side rather unfriendly.

In NZ I've noticed how friendly everyone is compared to back home. Makes the UK seem fking miserable (which I know a lot of you arebiggrin). People in shops are genuinely interested about how you are and how your day is, maybe it's because my accent is different but it's refreshing!

Funny you should say that as we just drove down to the south east from the north west today.
Lots of friendly people. You just need to take an English Bulldog with you smile

Seems unlikely. How can you know whether they're genuinely interested?
