The 'peel and reseal' sticker on Tesco pasta packets.

More like 'peel the top layer off leaving the sticky bit and a thin paper layer still holding the bag shut which won't come off in one piece' but for some reason they don't call it that.
The same on ground coffee packets. Not only Tesco branded ste, but the good stuff from aldi too. The sticky strip will NOT hold your coffee in.

Bloody hell, do you have Alzheimer's or something? You spend 10 minutes applying goo, then manage to forget about it entirely in 5?

Hahahahaha. I might be finding this funnier than I should.

goes wrong and careers downwards allowing about 10 digestives to slip out and smash on the floor
These are great fun! I like to try to get a nice thin strip tearing away, if it starts tearing down or up, you need to apply a bit of 'opposite lock', whilst being careful not to over-correct!

Pretty much any electronic device which has the ability to talk/pair/network with another electronic device. They're all mostly rubbish at it.

I've got a packet in my cupboard that actually worked as advertised, the first that I have ever had in god knows how many years. I held in in my hand and looked at it for about 5 minutes when it happened, absolutely amazed.

Cling film. A great idea in principle, but the most annoying product there is.

Milk cartons.

Back in the day you got a glass bottle with a foil lid you put your thumb through.

Now it's a carton. Some have to be torn which us close to impossible, some have a screw cap you undo yo reveal an inner ring pull type thing, some even have a peel back foil lid.

If you mange to open one of these there's no way you can pour milk into a cup without it spilling.

In 20 years we've gone backwards.
Always get my milk in plastic bottles with screw cap. You're making it hard for yourself wink

we still get milk delivered in bottles with the foil cap. This leads me to - the foil cap on delivered milk has the use by date pressed into it. When you open the milk by pushing down on the foil you obliterate the date leaving the job of selecting fresh milk for my morning coco pops somewhat of a lottery.

How many bottles do you have open at any given time?

I usually have just the one on the go - it's a fail-safe way of knowing which to use.

They definitely changed them recently as they're now almost impossible to open without coating yourself in sauce.

Other things that don't work as they should - my plan for world domination. It's taking much longer than I'd like.

HD pay-per-view films on virgin media. Costs a quid extra but freezes and buffers every 2 minutes. Useless. Tech support said it was due to "high demand in my area" and to try again later. I understand but I don't want to stay up till 4am just to watch a film, when the whole point of the service is that it's "on demand" ffs.

Don't even bother trying now, knife in, down the three sides, easy.
