Has anyone managed to use a full tube of superglue but not in a single go?

Everytime I buy a tube it ends up getting a blocked nozzle and being thrown away before it is anywhere near empty.

Often at work- but then I do have to put together prototype model kits that can have 2-300 parts in :-)

Most of the cheap stuff from the Poundylandy type places is OK. Main advantage is that they are supplied in 10-12 tiny tubes. Use and throw away.

It's a shame it doesn't bond the object you're gluing back together as well as it bonds the fking lid to the tube!

I may get some stick for saying it, but I use Zap-a-Gap. It's available from Axminster Power Tool Centre or Amazon, it's around £5/bottle. If you adhere to the rule of cleaning the nozzle before putting the cap back on, it'll last 5 or 10 years. If it gets blocked, use a pin to reopen it.

Yep, average a tube every other month at work. Mainly patching up the cheap stty steal toe capped boots the company provide

Goes something like:

Me: "These 3month old boots are fked, Can I have a new pair please?"

Manager: "you can glue it"

irked
