PH Secret Santa 2014 - The Return Of the Santae
Welcome to the third annual PH Secret Santa Thread.
2014 follows the successful PH SS threads of the last 2 years, run by TBK & his minions.
This year however TBK is unable to oversee, however he will still be taking part, i've (foolishly) agreed to take on the organisation.
I will copy & paste parts of last years thread opener + rules, although some are very minimally altered.
Basic Format:
• Starting from today, register your interest by send me a PM with your details on (summary of required
details is in the rules below).
• Closing date for entry is 6pm on the 7th November.
• On the 10th/11th of November you will receive an email with your gift recipient's (read target) details.
• Stalking of your target can then commence. Checking through post history, getting to know your target and
learning about them is all part of the fun. Use this info to decide on a perfect gift for them.
• Once purchased, wrap your gift and post to your target. Target spend is £10 plus P&P. (It's entirely up to
you if you want to spend more)
• Drop me an email to let me know it's been dispatched.
• Sit back and wait until Christmas when you can open your gift!
If you need to get a message to your Secret Santa or giftee, drop me a PM.
Every few days I will read out a list of anonymous messages and list who they are for.
This saves people giving away their identity and exposing themselves to their SS.
PH Secret Santa 2014 Rules:
• Secret Santa, add your name to the list and then pop me a PM with your username, real name, address, a
small list of likes/dislikes and whether NSFW things are acceptable (nobody wants to open a box containing
a dildo in front of little Johnny on Xmas morning).
• Anybody with allergies or things, please mention in the email.
• Target spend is £10 + postage. (Spending more is at the senders discretion.)
• There are a few international PH'ers involved. If you don't want to pay that little extra for postage
please say in your email. If you are a kind hearted soul and actually want an international PH'er then
please say this (You never know, one good present and you could have a free holiday home. I know Adenauer
lives by the 'ring...). Any secret Santas without a preference will be used in the case there are not
enough people volunteering to do it.
• Closing date is 6pm Friday 7th November, on the Monday/Tuesday (11th/12th) I will issue everyone an email
with the details of your secret santa. This is a strict cut off date.
• Non-senders will be named and shamed & potentially suffer VBRJ.
• If a person has specifically requested NOT to receive a certain gift (a common example being a dildo),
please do not send them it. As Papa Hotel has quite rightly said IT WOULD BE BAD FORM (repeatedly)...
• Also, if you haven't received a gift let me know. Christmas mail is busy and some of the post to
international PH'ers may take longer.
• All record of addresses will be destroyed after secret santa is completed.
• Photographs of received gifts on here after Christmas.
Reference the closing date, i have back-counted 6 weeks from the Week Commencing 22nd December, (I know this is not Xmas, however it gives a few days in that week to sort any hiccups). I've then gone to the Friday before as the closing date to give me the weekend to sort out all of the emails / details.
There may be occasional updates to the rules above, please keep an eye on them.
In the recent years we've had an extremely high percentage of success, if you are not 100% sure you can participate, then please don't sign up.
If there are any issues, PM me and I'll do my best to sort it out.
We'll create a table in here of those involved, similar to last year.
The spend is set at £10 plus P&P. I know for a fact that most people spent more than that last year (it's easy when you get caught up in the excitement). It's really up to you how much you spend, anymore is at your discretion.
If I've missed anything, i'll update as/when.

Can you put whether you mind sending abroard - if you don't state either way i will put it as a yes you don't mind sending abroard.
Allergies - if you don't state any i will put 'none' in the spreadsheet, so if you have an allergy please state it.
Is NSFW allowed? - Unless you say no to this it will be a 'yes'. Purely for comedy value.
