Calling all baldies
Discussion
Well, almost baldies.
I usually shave my head using clippers without any attachments. Shave cycle is one time per week and it takes me about 15 minutes.
I'm not yet ready to shave it down to the bone but am noticing that there's less and less clippings at the end of the session.
What are people using generally? I've heard about those clipper type things that can be used in the shower which is my preference at the moment - my aim is to replicate the 'zero shave' look using something quick and easy
Any pointers?

I started with no guard on the blades, then moved onto Wahl Balding Clippers, which give a very close cut, but are mains powered and a bit heavy.
I find it just as convenient to shave my head all over now. It grows back really fast and after a couple of days it feels too long again!
Oh how different from when I was 14 and had hair down to my shoulders...

I use this at the shortest setting.

Get in shower, shave head, then hose it/me down.

I wouldn't go back to having hair on my head even if there was a scientific breakthrough that allowed it to grow back fully.
As a fellow baldie, I call bullst on this!I use clippers without a guard on but I should shaving it I guess. I'm doing a sponsored comb-over this winter tho!
Would be interested in a comparison between the Wahl balding which i currently use and the Philips in the shower jobby if anyone has used both?
The Wahl has been brilliant for the last 5 years (never needed resharpening but like as someone earlier said, i oil them every time) but am looking for somehting a bit more convenient that doesn't involve me leaning over a bit of newspaper to catch the scraps as they fall
Not doing the complete Kojak, don't fancy the sticky scalp and like a bit of stubble on me barnet while i can
