Popped into a certain phone shop to buy a new charger plug for my HTC phone (mini USB connector) chap pointed me to a Berlin plug for £20 and then told me I would also need to buy the cable for £17. When I pointed out this was a ridiculous amount for a charger he informed me it's Berlin so is top quality.

you sure it was not poland or somewhere ?trick with places like rome is to search out places . when i went there many moons ago the tourist trade depended , it seemed , on people not being able to calculate correctly.this was in the days of the lira. an example of this was the price of a can of coke. it varied from approx. £4 to 50p

Had one of these last night. Absolutely fantastic and at £18 for an 18 inch, the price per inch is significantly lower than Dominoes etc. they are enormous!Seriously good pizza and free delivery. Never going to order from anywhere else again.

Awesome little Romanian cafe, as stereotypical as you get. Football on the TV, fills up at 10pm with the owners friends and family, rounds of bread and olives appear. Everyone leaves about 2am. The guy spoke no English, I spoke no Italian. Pointed and gesticulate. Definitely not only the tourist trail, but the best way to travel.
