Myself and Mrs Scouse both have Samsung Galaxy phones - she killed her charger (don't ask rolleyes ) and has a terrible habit of pulling my phone off charge and placing hers on - it is irrelevant what state of charge my phone is at, HER PHONE is obviously more important.

Oh and just for good measure, she will not allow her phone off charge until it hits 100%.

The worst thing she ever did though, was use a knife to cut an onion up on my kitchen work surface, before we lived together, chopping boards in plain sight, I really lost it then, maddest I have ever been at her, furious
Granite work surfaces are what you need. I fitted mine ten years ago (DIY) and they're still unmarked.
I have got quite good at sharpening knives, though....
I spent several days sanding and oiling the old kitchen work surface 3 months back... first day after showing her the new look I catch her cutting a carrot without a board and leaving a beautiful knife mark.

Yesterday I found a nice water stain were OH placed wet cutlery in a cutlery holder and all water has gone into the wood and stained it.

When questioned about it... cooly as you like... 'Well you are going to replace it anyway when you buy the new kitchen, so why you getting angry?'

Her lack of respect for things sometimes worries me...

"The new kitchen" - the assumption that you're going to buy a new one soon rolleyes
The only worse line is "My new kitchen". You know, the one that, in her mind, is already hers - and the only thing stopping her having what's hers is your refusal to let her.
I made it clear when I built our kitchen that since it wasn't going to wear out or fall apart, it wasn't being replaced anytime soon.

The only thing stopping me get the kitchen is my refusal to pay for the rest of the renovations until OH learns a bit of respect for the property, plus it will wipe out the rainy day fund.

Its our property up till the point something needs paying for, then it returns back to my property and I have to pay for it all, then back to our property again.

Since being made redundant, she sits in bed all day, and that's not an exaggeration. I'll leave at 8 in the morning, come back at 9 at night, and she's not moved, save for getting up to go to the door and get her takeaway, then come back again. She also seems to think that my one day off a week should be spent in bed watching Netflix, she has no understanding of why I want to make the most of it, as it'll be another 60+ hour week before I get another day off.

Also, I've counted the number of times she's actually tidied the place up on one hand, but the number of times she's said she will do it is so large the number has it's own special name. It's like living with a teenager at times, but the benefits outweigh the drawbacks, which is why I'm still here.

Mine came back from a meal telling me how nice it was, and how expensive it was, then I see the transaction of said expense on my bank account, I get called a tight arse for saying anything, I pay all the bills, food, petrol, car stuff etc etc and end up with left about the same as she clears so it isn't like I have a bottomless pit of salary left.

Then she posts a picture of herself in a daft hat on Facebook, then I realise said daft hat cost £35 from my account as well, this was part of her getting me a coat for my birthday, she bought two and took one back that I didnt like, paid for them from my account so this was the refund, told her she can have it for Christmas. Not sure when I will see the money for the coat, if I ask I will get told to stop moaning.

Just easier to say nothing but sometimes you need to stick up for yourself, not hard up for the odd £100 or so but its the principle, if she asked I would probably say yes but I work out what I have spare and then I realise it is less than I thought.
I can sympathise with this entirely. My wife has as much disposable income as me and yet is always doing st like you describe.
And leaving the car every single weekend without a drop of petrol in. I assume she either puts £2 at a time into it, or uses what I put it and then doesn't go anywhere. Or some tax that was supposed to go into savings via her account that never ends up there.
Or the fact that she just uses my iTunes account to buy stuff instead of setting up her own.
Or her 'rule' that any money found in my pockets when she does the washing is hers
Or her telling me that her car needs servicing instead of just getting her car serviced.
The list is fking endless.
She has her own Itunes, I pay for her Iphone each month though (£36), the kids however have all tried to bankrupt me by itunes, phone bills and Xbox live purchses, though we have turned a corner there, by making it clear I am aware, have spotted them email and deducting the cash from them they have got the message not to take the piss and now arrive clutching handfuls of pound coins.

Fuel wise, since leaving home where her dad paid for it, I have always paid for fuel for all of the cars, we have three, eldest is now driving and have managed to get him to cough up a few quid to put some in since he has got a part time job now, she would never in a million years pay for fuel on her own card, my money is for boring necessities, hers is special "taste the difference money" for fun stuff, though to be fair she does buy stuff for the kids quite a lot, clothes and the like so it isn't all one sided

She did buy a takeaway last night, mainly as she couldn't be arsed cooking and she knew I would not entertain it as getting near the end of the month and I have told her not to spend on anything that we don't need, rest of the month, if we eat out or have a takeaway, I pay, I am a sucker for a chicken kebab and she thinks she is doing me a massive favour by granting authorization for me to pay for one ! with five of us it is usually £40 or so, do that once a week it adds up.

I like to manage money well, used to be crap and just spend until I had gone overdrawn, now I dont and budget accordingly, have spent quite a bit on stuff this month but it has to stop before I run out, the basics still need to be paid, shopping bought etc, really, if I dont have the cash, I dont buy anything, used to be terrible.

New rant at me this morning.

I like a clean kitchen and enjoy cooking, OH hates washing up and will often leave it a few days before the build up of plates gets to me and I ask her to clean it up.

What pisses her off is that as the rule, the next person has to wait at least 24 hours before they do it, I nearly always do it 24 hours later or what is commonly known as washing up after cooking the evening meal.

Full on rant about how Im an ass and I don't really clean the kitchen as there is only a few bowls/plates there when I do it, yet she has to spend an hour doing the kitchen every week.

You would think with 2 degrees, a masters and speaking 7 languages, so obviously very intelligent, that she would get the common sense of spending 5-10 minutes cleaning up the dishes 2/3 times a week, that its easier than spending an hour doing it on a saturday when we want to do something else.

No... Im the ass for jumping my turn and not waiting a few days for it to build up.

fking female logic.
This is my ex down to a t - she would only ever do the washing up when there were no plates or cutlery left in the cupboards or drawers, or when there was no space left on the worktop. I even found used saucepans filled with water 'to soak' on the floor.

Cleans highly polished surfaces like chrome with abrasive materials. I've seen her use sandpaper on chrome before! Does my head in. Needless to say, she doesn't get near anything I regard as mine and I have to have my own rags as I've found sheets of sandpaper in with the rags under the sink.

I know it's hard to believe - I struggle myself! Most recently the towel rail was removed to allow painting behind it. She got paint on the chromed valves which were obviously still there and after splashes of paint had dried she used a kitchen scourer to remove them. Fine scratches everywhere. Seems to be some sort of inexplicable blind spot and it's not as if she has related habits. I can't think of anything else that's particularly unusual but that one is a cracker.

Washing wine glasses.
I've told her more times than I can count that she shouldn't put the crystal glasses in the dishwasher, it makes them go cloudy. So now she loads the d/w with the other stuff and then runs a full bowl of v hot soapy water to wash the wine glasses, most nights it's one or maybe two but she still runs a full bowl of water. Puts the glasses on the draining board, clears the rest of the kitchen and then puts the wine glasses in the dishwasher. Regular as clockwork, every night. Grrrrrr

Misted up windscreen and smears.

I take her car out and the inside of the widscreen is all smeary, this is bacause on a cold morning she insists on wiping the condensation off with a dirty towel that happens to be inside the car, or her coat sleeve.

No matter how many times that I tell her to wack the heating up, put the A/C on. get recirculation off, put the fan to the windscreen and have the fan on no. 4 she still doesn't grasp it; "doesn't work for me" is the response; arghhhhhhhh, you just can't be arsed!!

Ah yes, that rings a bell. Looks like she has used the inside of the windscreen to copy out an ordnance survey map. Hands, tissues, kiddie wipes etc are all used and then the screen is a freakin mess!!!

You know what women are like, you can only try so many times and in so many ways and then you know it's best to back off. She appears to understand but then will do it again at a later date. It's like an inability to be sensitive to textures or surfaces and abrasives, coupled with what I think is simply impatience. So if there were marks on chrome or stainless steel she wouldn't have the patience to use the appropriate cleaner because it would be laborious.

Hence she'd reach for a scourer or sandpaper. This is someone with a couple of high quality degrees, so it isn't an ability to understand, more that speed trumps anything else. The only way I can deal with it is to get her to agree not to touch anything where she could do the damage I'm talking about but sometimes thing slip through the net, like the rad valves. It's the only thing that gets to me and the thread is about things that piss you off. I'm probably lucky compared to some people, at least as long as she doesn't express an interest in cleaning classic cars!
