Do you spend much time there, d_m_n?
I have read a few of their posts from time to time. I've asked the odd serious question and had a fair smattering of replies from very helpful to angry and spiteful. Takes all sorts.

Do Mumsnet have threads on there made about PH?
Yes. Often, because someone on here has gone on there, then started a thread taking the piss out of it. Other times, there's been active trolling by some people on here over there.

I think mumsnet is remarkably similar to here - just a place for people to come and divert from day to day reality / fill time / be bitter online. They have the "LTB" team in Relationships, we have Blindswelledrat on any topic regarding humour. They have penis beaker lady; we have council baby and Matt777. IMO PH just has a 1 sided view on MN because of the "relationships" sub forum - I'm sure if people judged PH on just the Watches forum they'd think every PHer was some mental snob; SP+L only would look very argumentative. The Lounge? Bipolar at least.

Oh, and if you do go across to Mumsnet for kid advice, remember the medical advice there is as completely baseless as much of the advice in SP+L - i.e completely wrong!

Don't click the link!

It looks like the telegraph site has just been hacked by someone claiming to be "The Syrian Electronic Army" and may become a malware risk.

is like comparing the Telegraph to the Daily Mail.
I suspect you don't read the Telegraph very much?
The Telegraph is very much like the Daily Mail nowadays and is quoted in our NP&E section as often as the DM, but also with a smug air of "Well it's in the Telegraph so you can't even dismiss it as the Mail"

Depends on the job I'm working on, but this (dirty internet connection) machine is on MacOS with ClamXAV running monitor all the time.

Given that the site had a pop-up claiming the hack, followed by a redirect, however - it didn't need the AV to tell me that something wasn't right.

It seems to have been cleaned up now.

A platform used to provide comments on articles has had its DNS entry hacked to redirect requests to - a pop-up. Doesn't look as if it does anything more interesting than that.

All of these are subsections of a much bigger haunt known as The Pie And Piston, PistonHeads’ virtual pub. It’s a lively, friendly place where members tend to watch each other’s backs.

The vast majority of us have not.

They have, however, picked up that total arse, XJ Flyer's, posts about repatriation of immigrants.
