All seems a bit racist this "Black Friday", the white folk don't seem to be getting a look in.

That Lingerie shop must be selling some tiny girl pants, that are actually massive to go round those swamp donkeys.

£30 cheaper than the John Lewis Black Friday prices. I bought an iPad & if it hadn't had 'Refurbished' printed on the box you wouldn't have known it wasn't from the main store.
Same warranty? JL is 2 years.

Did my Christmas shopping with the Mrs in town this morning - no chaos to be seen other than a slightly peeved looking queue of Mums in GAME. I guess the feral phenomenon only affects certain areas...
I think it was last night that the troubles were happening smile
Everything was ok in Liverpool city centre for me today too, 10am.

All Apple stuff is 6 years technically as they have to conform to the law in each region. Not sure how far you would get though.

Just been to Tesco, there are some items I do need that I cannot get elsewhere.

I was nearly killed in the crush..... for the free titbits at the deli counter. Jesus, I only wanted a scotch egg for me packed lunch tomorrow and I was nearly wiped out by my larger human brethren as they salivated and dribbled their way to a free nibble and proceed to ram in pie with fists the size of hams down their gobs. The slavering kids at their ankles were thrown a few crumbs as well.
What a picture you paint hehe

Is that more or less than £10 or 10 pounds?

I don't get this at all.

Want to get a tablet, thought I might as well wait for the Black Friday sales. Nowhere online has stock now...

I even "sniped" an LG one on Amazon - waited for the countdown, clicked the link less than 1 second after the sale went live and I was "on the waiting list" as they had all been claimed.

Its all a total waste of time frown

"Any defect or non-conformity of goods with the contract which becomes apparent within 6 months of delivery are presumed to have existed at the time of delivery. After the expiry of this 6 month period, the burden to prove that the defect or non-conformity of goods with the contract existed on delivery generally shifts to the consumer."

It's the second sentence that would prove your undoing.

That is the exact deal I did today but in pc world, absolute bargain in my eyes. Plus it has the retina display.

In planning on going in tomorrow to get one from JL.

Doesn't say it's a black Friday deal... So hoping the price stays...

The non-cellular iPad Mini 2 has sold out on the Apple store but the cellular versions are still there:
16Gb: £279 Apple / £309 JL
32Gb: £319 Apple / £349 JL
I thought the Wi-Fi only was the same difference but I can't link to it as there are none left.

tried to buy something online yesterday evening - gave up - and I wasn't even after a bargain.
Amazon was working though - well done Amazon. down on Tesco, Argos and Currys, just have to wait a few days to get it - no big deal

Ahh, the under class have come out for some fresh air, shameful. The BBC did an interview with some business suit who in response to a question of the timing of black Friday said it was because people had been paid. No attempt to hide the cynical truth but the BBC interviewer never made a comment about it..

You can bypass the Currys queue instantly by changing one browser setting as per these instructions http://www.ukdealspy.com/spy-blog/2014/11/28/how-t...

Worked for me. 45 mins to 1 min.
