Some of the chappies from the southern continents do have strange names at times.
Several footballists called Prince IIRC. e.g. Prince Tagoe

You need a deed poll to include them in your name if you want them on a drivers licence, passport etc. Pretty pointless.
I used to drink with a pisshead who had Very Rev'd as the title on his driving licence. It was an option on the form so he ticked it.

I always thought you could call any name you wanted with out deed poll providing it was to commit fraud, but you may be right of course.

You can. Simply contact your bank and any other official body that you have dealings with and request that they now use your new given name in any correspondence. Then introduce yourself to everyone with your new given name and use it like you would your current one, going forwards.

You can call yourself whatever you want.

If you have a suitable surname, you can endow your offspring with grand names that may come in useful in later life, such as Colin Child, who named his son "Baron de roths".....

My two sisters and I are all entitled to use a hereditary title. Only one of us does - and it's not me.

You can buy a Lordship of the Manor perfectly legally.

Probably don't get the old Droit du Seigneur / Prima Nocta though.
Might be wrong, but I think penicillin eradicated that.

I got myself the title of "Captain" for free on the internet.
He's got a very different name we call him in real life. That was also free. Though perhaps not as grand.

A mate of mine bought himself a "Count". We miss the "o" out laugh

He does have one credit card with "Count" in front of his name, which he uses in America. He often gets upgraded as they seem to think he's something special...

A rather famous footballer round here bought a house that came with a title.

His now ex-wife called herself Lady Fxxxxxxx and she appeared on Come dine with me ( I think).

She made an absolute arse of herself as she really thought that she was a Lady now.

Everyone laughed at her.

Really not worth the paper that it is printed on...

Shirt this is fairly cheap.

I am still not sure if it is a title change or purely you are known as Mr Lord C********* H********* with your first name being Lord and your title still Mr.
