I met a "lord" phoned the his office number (he was a junior something or other) you should of heard the receptionist splitting her sides. clap

Real Lords don't use their title in normal day to day life.

Guess what I got for my birthday today ..

Bit annoyed that she got Lady for an extra tenner though, takes the shine off it a bit

I ve already corrected people speaking to me today, what else should I consider doing with my new found grandship?

Eg how do I change my PH user name?

Ps I’m an annoying tt that often takes things too far, so fire away

Join lots of dating sites and find lonely women in their 50's and 60's who will be enamoured by your new found title, then make up a story about how you have £1,000,000 in the bank but need £x amount to release the funds...but you will pay it right back.

(lots of slimy conmen use "titles" / change their name to "Spencer/ Rothschild" to do these sort of things.)

Book a night at your local hotel and, upon arrival, sign the register as 'Melbury'.

Have you found your predilections have shifted towards military and sadomasochistic based themes?

Probably already covered but why would you pay for it? Just start calling yourself Lord, or Sir, or Doctor

Doctor is a protected word.

You could just change your first name.

No it isn't, except in a clinical context.

Chap I know bought a castle near here that comes with its own title - whoever owns the castle is the Baron. Was only 700k too - and it’s a “proper” title.

All gets a bit confusing when a nurse has a Phd but no MD.

I seem to remember a certain TV nutrition pundit pushed the envelope on the title front.

Mind you, I do get this firm's adverts coming up in my Youtube selections

Backfired on me a few years ago.
When ordering stuff used a few titles to see if it got a better service . Dr, Rev etc, found it quite amusing at the time!
Until I had to return something, was a few years ago & they sent me a cheque, Dr Rambler.
The bank wouldn’t cash it..
Shows how long ago it was, there was a think called a bank on the High St.
Tried a smaller branch & it was Ok, the cashier called me Dr Rambler & paid it in.
