A friend of mine bought a house on that estate and lived there for years, when I used to visit it seemed apparent that the patients never really moved away, they were just relocated into the houses biggrin

If the silver Subaru in question is an Impreza then I wonder if it's the one I saw a few weeks back driving around like a complete idiot. He nearly knocked me off my bike, I ranted on FaceBook about it but didn't get a number or anything. Quite possibly the potentially innocent clonee (?) though!

The subaru is registered locally (ish) copper said it's probably a clone but did say that it's strange to use it where the actual registered car is!

Really sorry to hear this.

I got burgled in Dec 2002 whilst living in Warks.

I found him in my lounge at 2 a.m. with my TV in his hands.

They got the bloke eventually and he admitted to 34 TICs

34!

He got 3 months.

I moved out of England.

Really hope you get the scrote.

Happened to me earlier this year, again through French Doors. I know exactly how heart wrenching the feeling is of having the bds in your home. My wife was particularly upset as she'd returned home with our 2 month old daughter to find the house ransacked. She'd only been out for 90 minutes, they move quickly. We live next door to a butcher, he heard nothing.

It does get better over time though - I felt violated at first and couldn't sleep for weeks. We're now largely over it, although still haven't replaced all of the things that went (we spent most of the insurance money on replacing all of our doors, so haven't been able to replace all our computers yet).

It's an utter pain in the arse trying to prove ownership of things, so we now take photos of anything we buy of value and note down the serial numbers of electricals.

Just had a call from the police they've raided a house and found some of our stuff and they have somebody on remand over Christmas.

No watch but it does make me feel a bit better!

Keep the change you filthy animal.

Good news, obviously it doesn't put you back to a pre burgled state but hopefully their Christmas will have been impacted just as much as yours now

Great news OP. Is this because of the CCTV?

I hope the only reason they got him "eventually" was because he was very busy having his femurs re-set in hospital.

Sadly, it's so small and easily disposed off it's either pawned or sold in the local dodgy boozer.

Sorry to say this, but don't get ya hopes up. frown

I've resigned myself to that frown anything else is a bonus.

Somebody else is probably walking round with it on after giving £50 for it.
