Oh dear, I did have a slight hint of suspicion that the initial post didn't quite ring true ("hold me guy's (sic)" is not what most people would say in such circumstances, but not enough to call him out on it. Well done to the internet sleuths on here and to those who shared their experiences.

k happened between 16:00 yesterday and this morning?
Its not great to share stuff like we have. It opens wounds we would rather not strain. But we do it because someone out there has had (potentially) the unthinkable happen, and right now you can be a faint glimmer that there is light at the end of the tunnel (e.t.c add cliche's but you get the idea) so we do it knowing it might bring them comfort.
FFS this guy had people invite him to christmas rather than be alone in his situation!
Not cool at all if this turns out to be untrue.

Just been looking back through previous threads started. He put down a deposit on a brand new BMW earlier in the year, (so not a company car then) which he bought to upgrade for a 1 series which he had to buy, because the 1 series was too small for his soon to arrive baby.
Also mentioned that his grand father died in August, (related to this post perhaps?)
