Tomorrow

Although an awful lot of my customers are being extra helpful and asking lots of questions just now, it's ok though they just need the answer before the end of the year, having had all year to ask them!

I have Xmas eve, Xmas day and Boxing day off from my day job, then working the Friday after, Saturday off (day off anyway), Sunday/Monday/Tuesday at work as normal, New Years eve finish at 1800 instead of 2015, New Years Day off, back Friday.

I will be working Xmas eve with my second job, and possibly new years eve after my day job, and new years day afternoon, unsure if I want to yet.

I'm on a nightshift on xmas day, boxing day and the 27th. First time I've ever worked over the Christmas period. Finish on the morning of the 28th and then not back in until the 11th.

Last day of work today; leaving Africa for the final time. Fly to Aberdeen on Mon/Tue via Dar/Dubai/London; upgraded to First with Emirates with my airmiles on the DXB/LHR leg so looking forward to that. Then off until 5th January. Cannot wait to come back home tbh; Africa has been interesting but living here is tough going.

I will just have Christmas Day and New Year's Day off. This is always a mad time for accountants in practice.

I have never worked East Africa, but the West is certainly 'difficult'

Safe journey home.

I've "sort of" finished as from this afternoon (off to Bruges smile) but I'm working on Christmas and New Years eve (daytimes). There's a reason for this: there's bugger all traffic and also I'll be damned if I'm using a valuable days holiday when you get sent home early anyway.

Finished today, back in on the 29th and 30th, and then off until the 5th. Got to do about an hour from home on the 31st and 2nd too.

Although given it is both month and year end I expect I'll get several phone calls and e-mails every day. The joys of a role where there is always product that needs moved.

Still, it is mid-summer and the weather is reasonable, so can't complain really.
