Ditto!

Mind you after a weekend at home with the wife and kids, I may find a need to come back to work....

Finish today and back in on Friday the 2nd of Jan which will probably be spent browsing the internet or snoozing as I am by myself. AFAIK we only have a couple of clients working between Xmas and new year.

Finish Christmas Eve at whatever time we get thrown out, not back until the 5th Jan.

Would like to think of it as a holiday but dealing with the kids is more tiring than work frown

Officially, just under 2 hours from now. Unofficially, as soon as I can sneak off without being missed.

I've taken a couple of days leave next week to allow me a two week break. This year has been a bit of a pain in the ass, both personally and professionally and I'll be glad to see the back of 2014.

Back on the 5th January, hopefully, with recharged batteries.

I would have thought after all this time you'd know how to do it hehe
Sadly, our clients haven't - no matter what we say to them.

Been off since the 15th and not back until the 30th.

first time in twelve years that my annual leave has fallen at Christmas bounce (Annual leave is allocated on a rostered basis).

Normally scrabbling around trying to move restdays or selling my soul to the admin girls to get half decent time off for Christmas so a big result this year.

Ye Gods! I'm amazed how many people aren't working for a week. How will the UK keep going? smile

I will finish work at 10.30pm Xmas Eve, one day off, and back to work at 4.30pm Boxing Day. Off on Sunday and working all the next week including New Years Day. You're all idle f***ers.

At the moment it's delivering Xmas flowers for Interflora from 10.00am to 4.00pm, then on to "proper" job 4.30pm till midnight. Up at 8.00am to put on washing machine, tidy house, feed cat, and then off for a day's work - it's what made Britain great.

I bet you're all civil servants.

Off this weekend and added Monday as a holiday, working Tuesday and Wednesday as normal, 4 hour voluntary shift on Xmas day (£30 an hour! smile) then off boxing day and all weekend. Back in on Monday as normal, another 4 hour shift for £30 an hour on NY Day (Don't drink any more so easy enough) then back on Friday and the Saturday afterwards.
