Good Morning, Agents. I have a a secret mission for the clever amongst you, what might the weight of a 140 x 140 x 6510mm piece of wood be?

It's either bloody heavy, or I'm a poof. biggrin

Boom thumbup

I should be able to lift it up then, although I don't even lift. Difficult as it's lying flat on the floor.

Remember, the manual handling courses always state ' If an item is too heavy to manage alone, get assistance'. Therefore, the correct course of action is to get assistance from the wife in the actual lifting with you performing the role of supervisor. A problem shared being a problem halved and all that...

Sold a chap some bits and took them to his house to drop them off. Despite him having some nice cars and good motoring stories, most of our conversation was taken up with him buying a milling machine, transporting it home and then putting it in place in the corner of the garage on his own using a collection of jacks, lengths of rope and bits of wood. His sense of accomplishment was palpable.

Daughter hates her car, (well, which daughter wouldn't hate an Audi 80 Cabrio as their first car)? banghead

So yesterday I stuck it on Ebay for sts and giggles with a small reserve.

It's already up to €500 with 6 days left to go laugh

If it sells, I'll buy her something else, that'll teach her biggrin

Get her a Carina diesel auto in dull green. Possibly the most boring car I've ever had the misfortune to drive. The Ford Orion/Vauxhall Belmont were dreadful but at least had some character.

Did Plymouth to Hereford to Warwickshire and back for a weekend. Not much fun in the Orion, in the snow.
