The A9 motorway in Bavaria is going to be used by the main automotive players to test their driverless vehicles, whilst remaining open to the general public, now THAT'S news biggrin

Today I have the Golf booked for a de-map, or hide it in the EU somewhere ,because getting rid ASAP.

I was contemplating giving to my boy but it's too rough and needs a re-spray on the roof.

I see if he wants it or more to the point can afford to run/maintain it.

I've just been flicking through other areas of the forum and skim read some of the outpourings of glee about the computer game Test Drive III and associated memories in General. I just don't get it. Computer games have never been a source of interest for me in any way. I mentioned to someone a while ago that I've never played on an X-box or similar, let alone dedicated whole days/evenings to some Playstation distraction. I may as well have claimed to be from planet Zog.

I once used a Playstation with that Colin Mcrae Rally game. Lasted 45 seconds and turned it off.

As a kid I had an Atari game that came in a wooden box. It had the Ping-pong game. Meh but still better than the Playstation thingy.

My first attempt to type "Good morning" in here every day invariably comes out as "Good moring." I wonder if it is the prevailing nautical influence in TT trying to make me write Good mooring.

It's quiet at work at present if you're wondering.

Tomorrow I have the day off to collect my new British Bulldog, Marley. (i really want to call him Heisenberg but he's 3, so I can't).
Bit of a trek to Middlesborough though..c'est la vie.

So, yeah...In a nut shell. New dog, excited, long day.

I'll post some pictures of Heisen...Marley tomorrow.

Marley.

The previous owners called the dog Marley?

The dog wishes to be known henceforth as Butch Slayer of Cats.

You know this to be true.

thumbup Mr R, hope all goes well!

Otherwise, Morning all coffee

Made some progress with the 90 yesterday, the plan is to finish painting the good bits of the chassis before the chap doing the welding (new rear crossmember plus alterations from TD5 to 300Tdi spec) collects it, does the work and returns it on a pair of Disco 300Tdi axles ready for engine/gearbox to be dropped in, and bodywork refitted. Hoping to finish it by autumn.....

Interesting. I thought the axles were common to all Land Rovers, Discoverys and Range Rover Classics of that era.
