Not quite, they're interchangeable but there are differences. Defender rear axles are drum braked, RRC & Disco are disc. Pre-1993 axles are 10-spline, post-1993 are 24-spline. Therefore a set of 300Tdi Disco axles will give me all round disc brakes and stronger halfshafts.SWTH said:
