Morning all.

Icy squalls. 2 words every biker loves to hear. Had to fill the quad's tank for the second time this year. That's 12 quid in a month, shocking.

Grim here. Wet, windy but not as cold as it might be.

I know why I haven't been exposed to the worst of the weather. It's because I bought winter tyres for the first time.

ACHTUNG!

10 squats in Mexico City and you get a free ticket for the underground. You heard it here first. Morning.

Weather report from the dark side of the Tamar; breezy with drizzle.

Same as yesterday, and the day before.

ION, yesterday was a productive day. Finished fixing the bike (it being knocked over has cost me £240 just to make it rideable again and I still need an exhaust shield and offside front fairing to restore it to pre-accident condition), got the S124 finally booked in for its re-test (it failed the MoT in September and I've not had chance to do anything about it until now), and I bought a model of the type of train I work on.

I knocked my toothpaste into the toilet at the Travelodge.

I didn't have a spare tube.

But I'm an oil man! Heck! Rinse it off and check the cap was on tight.

No symptoms of anything ghastly so far.

Well, now I'm spooked.

Maybe this should be in the super natural coincidences thread? scratchchin

But that thread's full of nutjobs, not like this one. biggrin

Anyway, I'm rambling.

Last night we watched Machine Gun Preacher, the true story of Sam Childers and his fight to protect the children in Uganda. This moved the wife and I somewhat so today I thought I would try and support his cause in some way. I found his website, and bought a few items and donated a bit of wonga.

Two minutes, and I really mean two minutes maximum after that I got an enquiry through for some plastic pallets by Email from Herr Preacher, of Johnson & Johnson in Germany.

What are the chances of that? eek

Even more interesting to my mind is the concept of plastic pallets by email.

Just had some interesting cheese toasties.
Ran out of SS cheddar so I compromised and put a cheddar with cranberries and toms in one and the other I put the blue vein cheese with ham.

In a moment of stupidity, I used my mrs' concealer to hide an unsightly mark on my neck.

My shirt collar is no longer white.
