Just arrived in Shrewsbury. Some very light snow flurries.

Supposed to be worse tomorrow which means only one thing: time to break out the sled!

Just decoking my bag. Yes, "the man with no bag" uses a bag for away-from-home days.

Fairly frequently I empty my pockets into it. I just found £14.89.

FTAO 4941cc....Pebble Hill is officially open cos I used it today.

Pity they didn't use the time to flatten the steep hill as My truck really doesn't do steep very well.

£14.89 of free money found in bottom of bag as shrapnel. Pub next door. What to do?

There are tough decisions to be made.

Live dangerously, just shut the lid and leave it on!

Fortitude, that much promoted new wintry series on one of the Sky channels. Where's that pinging sound from? It's an echoey ping used many times during the promo trailers and I'm certain it's been lifted from somewhere else, but I can't think where.

Just got back in from a mate's workshop, where I've been helping him spray a bumper and also collecting some bits for the Yellow Peril. I'm back a bit later than I said I'd be.

Getting the full 'picture, but no sound' treatment now.

My late lamented uncle Bill, who was a lighting man at Shepperton Studios, gaffered the lighting for Churchill's funeral at St Paul's. The fixtures and fittings he and his lads installed at the cathedral are still there and still used today for televised events.

I live along a mile and a half long sandy beach. With the winds whipping in, there is about half an inch of fine sand covering the road and sand drifts all along the curb. Got caught by one or two powerful gusts that shot me sideways across the road. It has now been shut to highsided lorries and buses.

I can see why! eek
