Tell us something really trivial about your life (vol 25)
Discussion
When I had the diesel Disco we had fairly thick snow one morning and I drove up to Tesco to find mine was the sixth vehicle there and they were all four by fours. There were two Defenders, one from the AA attending another that, judging by the tyres tracks, had done the old "I'm in a 4x4 watch this" routine by taking the shortest route from the entrance to the parking area. Unfortunately, the shortest route included two very high kerbs and he had pulled two tyres off their rims in the process. Clueless.

Not much point going shopping this morning. Due to weather, the 03.00 freight ship only got in at 09.20, so nothing is on the shelves yet. The joy of island living.
Grocer should order more just in case ,you know weather.ION this mornings breakfast consists of two extra thick cut bacon and free range egg toasted sarnies.

Well that went well. Buggered off at 2, by 2.15 there was sod all left. Three 40ft containers of nosh stripped in 15mins. Housewives and mothers must hunt in packs.pad58 said:
A nice glass or two of red
I'm about to pick up a bottle of red. I'm in the fortunate position that I have a very good friend who lives only a couple of hundred yards away who had never cooked a meal in his life until last week (he's in his twenties).
Now he has discovered a passion for cooking and invites our entire friends group for dinner every evening. He cooks quite well too, if a little unambitiously.
