Thank you all for your felicitations.
My birthday pies for the office are speeding to Sully from Penarth even as we speak.
Love from Dicky (age 61)
Actually, I was born in the early evening, so it's not quite my birthday yet. Twas a Saturday in the Maternity Wing of the Mayday Hospital in Croydon. ("I'm a Londoner, too." "Oh, yeah, where you from?" "Croydon." "Ha ha ha! That ain't London!" I can always get a laugh out of a black cab driver) In those days, fathers weren't welcome in the Delivery Room and my dad was at the cinema.

Been home to let the plumber in to fit the new and very expensive sink and taps in the kitchen...Ripped out the old one and it's gubbings and put the new one in its place only to find that it's too small. TOO fkING SMALL. He'd left to see about rectifying the problem on my behalf but not before running over my dog.
I'm having a crap day.....the dog too.

Whoa there. A sink too small is one thing. The dog being run over is something else entirely.I'm having a crap day.....the dog too.
How's the dog?

I'm pleased he's not too badly injured MrR
He's going to be sore for a few days but the fear is his ongoing ligament problem took a knock and he's back to square one again. It's funny, he's with me most days at work, travels in the van with me and of course the evenings. I spend more time with my dog that the misses little bugger had me very worried.
