Tell us something really trivial about your life (vol 25)
Discussion
That's kind of you to ask, ApO.
She's being moved from the hospital to a Nursing Home for a few weeks but, because the treatment originally planned by the NHS was to take another three weeks, they are picking up most of the bill. The hope is that she will be up and about in three weeks and therefore save either her or the authorities the expense of putting hand rails all round her house.
My brother and his wife are there at the moment and we'll be going down next weekend.
I'm convinced her most serious ailment is the humiliation of being incapacitated after eight and a half decades of robust health, even though it appears to be temporary. Perhaps folk should have lessons in the next likely phase of their lives so they can be prepared.

Ahh Gatwick. Lovely. Having a bite of breakfast in one of the lounges before popping over to Geneva for the motorshow.
Just over there is a group of four middle aged men starting their skiing trip. Very loud and obnoxious, but unfortunately Security have already confiscated my favourite side arm.

Better?
Afternoon Trivs! Sleepy today... who'd have thought staying up till 3 after getting ~2.5hrs sleep the night before was going to leave me tired? There should be a warning label or something
Still I've managed to get a few hours work done which isn't bad, starting to lose momentum now though

Just out of interest, would it be considered impolite to inflict the death of a thousand cuts to anyone who chooses to wear a rucksack when in a crowded place?
This may or may not have anything to do with my current afternoon at Geneva's Palexpo...
Are they of the persuasion where they think turning sideways to pass you makes them narrower? This may or may not have anything to do with my current afternoon at Geneva's Palexpo...
If so they deserve to die for stupidity.

Pub near to me has reopened officially tonight, top quality beer/ale, looks like a good future regular establishment. Also seemed rude not to have a picture with one of the new owners.
Standard PH answer from the bloke with no telly or lives in cave.........Who's that ?[yes I know]It's Bob the builder.
