iva - your mate Sump has turned up in the Turning Around In Someone Else's Drive thread. He claims if he sees someone in their front garden he's been known to turn round in their drive just for the hell of it.

He's directionless.

I've just made the best sultana scones I've ever made.

smile

Now to make sure I don't eat them all.

Remind me why I made them?

I'd hazard a guess you didn't really have any raisins.

Security bloke at the supermarket once asked me if I had any raisins in my trolley when the buzzer buzzed as I attempted to leave the shop, as apparently they sometimes have electronic tags on the packets. I questioned this.

He actually said razors.

Regular listeners will recall my visit to Tesco when I asked if they had any cloves. The incredulous girl pointed to the clothing section behind me.

Razor blades and batteries are the most nicked items in the UK.

That'll teach me for trying to drag that bloody great lorry 150 amper through the doorway at Halfords?

Have I ever said, when ar were a lad, one of the locals had an Austin A30 with a Westminster engine? The pilot and co pilot sat in the back. It only ever emerged very late at night and the legend was that it wasn't very legal.
Was there any room betwixt rear axle and flywheel for a gearbox? I have my doubts. Direct drive! nuts

I've tried all afternoon to come up with a pun laden riposte but I was only thinking of tired old gags. Nothing current.

Oi, am I now the local bleedin' IT expert?

I've now got 3 folk who have Tablets/Xbox and have set them up for them. I've never even used a sodding Smart Phone yet.

I didn't own mine when this came out.

As I'm now a semi Beard on these,it's a shame Hammond/BBC ruined a Riviera special edition.

black paint and quilted leather interior is lovely.

Just looked at the 5 on Ebay.

Yellow cheapest at £4K but is also oldest on N plate, they don't get much older than that.

Other 4 all at £6K ,maybe prices are firming up for an underrated little car.

All 5 are good colours too.
